Congress has passed a special law in effect through the end of 2020, to support families during COVID-19 through the end of 2020. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act [LINK https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/pandemic/ffcra-employee-paid-leave] requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19.
